Frank van Graas![]() Frank van Graas is the Fritz J. and Dolores H. Russ Professor of Electrical Engineering and principal investigator with the Avionics Engineering Center at Ohio University. A Past President of The Institute of Navigation, van Graas received the 1996 Johannes Kepler Award from the ION’s Satellite Division of the ION and the Thurlow Award, and is also a fellow of the institute. He teaches lecture courses on electronic navigation systems. His research interests center on all facets of GPS, including aircraft precision approach and landing, attitude determination, inertial integration, and terrain-referenced navigation. Articles
