ION 2009 Technical Meeting covers GNSS for developing countries: Abstracts due October 3![]() September 29, 2008

Abstracts for the Institute of Navigation's 2009 International Technical Meeting (ITM) are due on October 3, 2008. Final manuscripts are due by January 5, 2009. The theme of this winter's meeting is "GNSS Technology: A Path to Sustainable Economic and Social Benefits for Developing Countries." It will take place January 26-28 at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, part of the Disneyland resort complex in Anaheim, California USA. Particularly welcome are abstracts that address ooperative efforts and international partnerships for the session, GNSS for Global Development, chaired by Dozie Ezigbalike, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, and Keith Groves, U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory. The plenary session features speakers who are working on some of the most innovative programs in the subject area , including geodetic applications and scientific exploration.
