Eliza Schmidkunz

Eliza Schmidkunz is a partner in Gibbons Media and Research LLC, publishers of Inside GNSS, and the author of "GNSS Hotspots," a regular column.

From 2001 to 2007, she was responsible for internal and external communications for the University of Oregon School of Law.

Before that, she worked in a number of creative and marketing management positions in medicine and the natural sciences. These included the University of Oregon Museum of Natural and Cultural History and its archaelogical research arm; a large west coast hospital consortium, its health plan and its women’s health education center; and a museum exhibit and retail design firm.

Eliza attended the University of California at Santa Cruz and Riverside. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication, where she specialized in advertising. She lives in Eugene, Oregon, USA.
