Daniele Gianni is currently an internal research fellow in the System Modelling and Functional Verification Section of the European Space Agency.

Gianni received a Ph.D. in computer and control engineering from University of Rome TorVergata (Italy), in the field of modelling and simulation.

He held research appointments at Imperial College and the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom and received research scholarships for the Georgia Institute of Technology (United States) and Auckland Bioengineering Institute (New Zealand).
