Jean-François Bou

Jean-François Bou brings more than 20 years of multinational management and business development experience to his current role as director of the Battlespace Transformation Centre (BTC) at Thales. He was appointed to that position  in September, 2007.

Before that, as director of the Galileo Program Office, Mr. Bou led a multi-division, multi-domestic team to shape and manage Thales's involvement in Galileo's programs, infrastructure and potential downstream business opportunities. 

He served as chairman of the Air Traffic Alliance, a grouping of Thales, EADS and Airbus dealing with the European Commission Single Sky Initiative, and managing the SESAR definition phase.

He also was CEO of Euro-GNSS, a company jointly owned by AENA, Alcatel, EADS, Finmeccanica, Hispasat, Inmarsat, TeleOp and Thales selected to become the future Galileo concessionaire.
