Brent Renfro

Brent A. Renfro is a program manager within the Space and Geophysics Laboratory of Applied Research Laboratories, The University of Texas at Austin (ARL:UT).

Renfro has been involved in development of systems for collecting and processing GPS data since 1979.

Current interests include GPS performance analysis and the development of GPS monitoring capabilities.

He serves at the coordinator for the GPS Toolkit (GPSTk) open source software project hosted by ARL:UT.

Renfro has a bachelor’s degree in physics from Wabash College and a master’s degree in computer science from The University of Texas at Austin.
