David Vaccaro![]() David Vaccaro is a senior analyst at Futron Corporation, based in Bethesda, Maryland. Vaccaro has 10 years of experience in space and telecommunications research and analysis involving satellite communications and ground infrastructure, national telecommunications policies, and international space programs. Prior to joining Futron, Vaccaro analyzed global telecommunications governance issues at the World Bank. He also has on-site work experience in emerging Asian markets, leading an Internet design team at an advertising firm in Nanjing, China, as well as managing public relations for a Chinese e-commerce portal. At Futron, Vaccaro has managed several teams of employees on individual projects ranging from comprehensive economic valuations of the satellite industry to quantitative analysis on behalf of multiple-year, multimillion-dollar federal government contracts. He has been a major contributor to reports on topics ranging from global space competitiveness to the national security implications of international telecommunications infrastructure.
