Douglas Rowitch

Douglas N. Rowitch received the B.A. and M.A. degrees in applied mathematics, and the M.S.E.E. and the Ph.D. degree in communication Theory and Systems in 1998, all from the University of California, San Diego.

He has more than 23 years’ experience in industry as a systems engineer and is employed at Qualcomm Incorporated, San Diego, California, where he is a principal engineer/manager.

Rowitch has participated in the development of Qualcomm’s gpsOne positioning technology and now leads this technology effort across all IS-2000 platforms.
