Stefan Winkler holds a diploma in aerospace engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany. His doctoral thesis deals with multi-sensor fusion for integrated navigation systems of small UAVs.

He has more than six years of experience in developing guidance, navigation, and control systems for satellites and UAVs.
