Joseph M. Strus is a systems analyst at SRI International, Menlo Park, California, where he has worked on precision navigation applications since 2001. His interests are GPS, GPS/INS, and estimation theory.

Previously, he was a GPS systems engineer with the Government Systems Division of Rockwell Collins. Strus received his B.S. and Ph.D. (mathematics) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds several GPS-related patents.
